I eat at Yuzu a lot. So much so that I have earned my chopsticks there and their mobile site is my handiwork. But a friend and I agreed: fresh fish, great service, and a comfortable space. Certainly, this isn’t the cheapest sushi in town, but both of us felt that it was definitely good value.
You’d think that the city couldn’t possibly sustain yet another dedicated cupcake shop, but clearly I’m in the minority.

Toronto’s first sake brewery (appropriately located in the Distillery District) has hung its sugidama above the door, so I belly up to the Ontario Spring Water Sake Company‘s tasting bar on a sunny afternoon to see what they have to offer.
It was just last year that I wrote about a plethora of places opening up in Leslieville and environs. Well, apparently, the trend continues for spring 2011. Here are some new openings and movement in the last few months.
